Good Morning Mr X, you have been away at Croquet for a while, how was the tournament ?
I’m very happy with my result Shane, I got to the semis and lost to the world no 7 in a real dogfight, won the first and had real chances in 2 of the other 3, and he is 40 years my junior, was a bit like Newk getting a set off Raffa.
Well done Mr X, can you bring any of that good form to Caufield today ?

RACE 5 – A real mixture of formlines here Shane, 1,2,4 & 6 all have good group credentials from the past and the 8 Pakari Toa has the best current form so those 5 from me.
RACE 6 – Not keen on the 1, will get lost on the inside from the 1 gate and an enormous weight for a mare, the chances are 5,8,9,10 & 12 with At The Heads best rated at 4.00, he is an entire, drawn perfectly, on the pace and the best ratings, & the 12 Veewap has a swoopers chance if the pace is on, pricing him at 8.00. 10 & 12 is a good value quinella.
RACE 7 – With the obvious here, the 6 African Pulse is the Black Caviar here, has 5 lengths on them if he is right, so pricing him at 1.50
RACE 7 – Typical tough mares race, not keen on 5, 8 or 10 but the rest can certainly win, pricing the 2 Avionics and the 9 Off And Laughing at 8.00, they should both be much better odds than that.
Summary – 1,2,4,6,8 / 5,8,9,10 with best the 10 / 6 / 1,2,3,4,6,7,9 or field if you have to feel safe as it is a mares race. – Quaddie Market
